Quantitative lateral flow assays are used increasingly for applications in many industry sectors.  Advances in reader design, together with more consistency in the manufacturing process have resulted in major improvements in quantitative assays, and performance is now equivalent to laboratory ELISA techniques.

Forsite has developed several quantitative assays and specialises in the manufacture of such assays owing to our automated and controlled production capabilities.  We have also patented a method for competitive assays in which the Control line is independent from the Test line, giving a much more reliable reference point for measuring the decrease in T-line intensity.  If you require a competitive lateral flow assay, this innovation is available to you.
