LFDR101 Reader
Forsite’s all-new Reader is available for direct purchase or can be customised to your OEM needs. This flexibility gives customers a real opportunity to differentiate their LFD products and overall offer.
The new LFDR101 has been designed specifically to produce numerical results from suitable Forsite lateral flow device tests - sandwich, competitive and reverse competitive test formats. The Reader is fully portable, weighs approximately 450g, and can store the results of 250 readings. Bluetooth functionality allows export of results to a designated computer. Versions of the Reader are available for use with LFDs incorporating either latex or gold labels.
Customised Readers with contract LFD manufacture
Ease of use and support for decision making has been kept at the top of the agenda during development of the Reader. Not only do users receive a numerical readout, the screen changes colour according to whether the result is below, at, or above pre-set thresholds.
Each reading takes a matter of seconds, and the instrument can be set to take multiple readings from one test device, or individual readings of replicate devices. Statistical analysis of the readings is carried out automatically, providing the user with a consolidated value.
To ensure maximum flexibility for the customer, settings within the Reader can be altered by the user as required, for example, when the type of test to be read is changed. Reference devices supplied with the Reader allow performance to be checked at convenient intervals.
Power is provided by a rechargeable internal battery, with mains power optional. Adaptors for the UK, Europe and the United States of America are supplied as standard.
