What we do

Forsite’s business is built around the development and manufacture of on-site diagnostic and detection tools for the agribusiness sector.  The technology we use for our diagnostic tests is all centred on the well-trusted lateral flow device, or LFD.

We’ve taken LFD technology and made it work harder.  Supported with patented innovations, our R&D team is transforming the LFD into a quantitative measurement tool which opens up a new range of markets.  

Some of our most exciting work is bringing the speed of LFD technologies together with the sensitivity of DNA analysis to provide hugely powerful on-site testing capability.  Throughout development we keep a firm watch on ease of use and cost effectiveness of testing solutions.

Development of tests leads on to manufacture.  We have invested in state of the art manufacturing equipment to ensure product consistency and quality.  As well as producing all our own tests, we manufacture LFD tests for a range of customers who require a reliable and efficient partner.

Forsite has established a prominent position in the international horticultural industry with our Pocket Diagnostic brand.  We sell to farmers, growers, inspection agencies and laboratories across the world via a network of distributors and through our website.

With our work depending so heavily on antibodies, we are able to source and sell a portfolio of interesting antibodies, mainly in the plant health and food safety arenas.
